Nikon Release Digital Camera With a Built In Projector
In a world first, Nikon have announced a point-and-shoot digital still camera with an LED projector built in. The
Nikon Coolpix S1000pj boasts a 12 megapixel image sensor, 5x wide angle lens, ISO range of 80 to 6400 and a 2.7 inch LCD screen as well as the addition of the 10 lumen projector. The projector itself is stated to have a resolution equivalent to
VGA (640 x 480 pixels) and can produce an image of 12 centimetres diagonally at a distance of 26 centimetres or 101 centimetres at a distance of two metres. It can be used to review your photos and videos and you can adjust the focus of the image by way of a slider on the top of the camera's body. The camera is slated to retain for $US430 when it's released in September.
