I then put the footage in Adobe Premiere. You can right click on any clip and change the speed, to make the clip play backwards you simply make the speed change negative. -100% makes the clip play at normal speed backwards. Premiere does this automatically, but you will need to deinterlace your clip if your program does not. To make the slow reverse clips, I used the Deinterlaced Slow Motion method which I have posted in the Tutorials section of this site, and then reversed the slow motion clips. Unfortunately, I can't find anything free which will reverse a DV clip for you, I know Windows Movie Maker can't do it. What editing program do you use? Doubt if the red lens will be the same. Also Panasonic has it's hvx300 out. Their camera also has 2/3 chips and is much lighter than the hvx and the ex1 which you had to support with te other hand. Probably the prices of those camera's will drop after these releases. the hvx300 will be for release before christmas.
